Jacqueline Joyce Curti, 84. Mrs. Curti was born in Monrovia on September 15, 1921 and passed away in Bakersfield on September 21, 2005. She graduated from L.A. High School in 1939 and from UCLA in 1943 with a BA degree. On August 20, 1943 she married Noah Curti in Chicago, Illinois. In January of 1947 the Curtis moved to Taft. Mrs. Curti was a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, served on the Board of Deacons and the Bethany Guild. She was a member of the Gamma Icappa Phi Sorority, Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, Former Faculty Wives at Taft Union High School, Taft College Boosters, AARP, Kern Regional Center, Porterville Developmental Center and a life member of the UCLA Alumni Association and P.T.A. Her survivors include her husband, Noah Curti of Taft; her daughters, Pam Curti, Linda Houts; her son and his wife, Jim and Sherilyn Curti; her grandson and his wife, Jason and Michelle Houts; her granddaughter and her fiancé, Rea Curti and Tim Crosswhite; granddaughters, Tasha Curti and Tisha Russell and her husband, Melvin; her great-grandchildren, Sydnee and Brody Russell, Breanna, Brady and Jayden Houts. No visitation hours are scheduled and the arrangements are under the direction of the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home.
