Francis O. Curtis (Frank) 
Services: Tues., Sept. 13, 10 a.m. 

Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2005, at 10:00 
a.m., at Hillcrest Mortuary for Francis Frank Curtis, born December 14, 1924 
in Taft, CA to Floyd and Paralee Curtis, the oldest of their three sons. He 
was married to Frances M. Davis for 53 years. Frank and Marie raised their 
children in Bakersfield, CA. He was a Medic in the Army Airforce. He was a 
partner of B & F Hobby Shop. He was also a Truck Driver for many years. Frank 
will be lovingly remembered by his family. Frank was preceded in death by his 
first wife, Betty Hutchinson, his brothers, Bill and Bud, and daughter, Donna 
Dee Hanks. In addition to his wife, Marie, Frank is survived by his sister-in-
law, Pat Snow; two daughters, Judy Hutchison and husband, John, and Bonnie 
Allen and husband, Jay; grandsons, Michael Patch and wife, Stephanie, Ronnie 
Hinds and wife, Lori, Johnny Hinds and wife, Carrie, and Danny Drake and wife, 
Tammy; granddaughters, Jeanie Demkey and husband, David, Kathy Hutington and 
husband, Joel, Cindy Poulsen, and Susan Walls and husband, Tony; 25 great-
grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and 
friends. Special thanks to his longtime friend and caregiver, Corrina 
Griffith. Frank enjoyed many hobbies such as building remote-controlled 
airplanes and raising bees, rabbits, and birds. He loved sharing his familys 
heritage with many members of the family. Many thanks to the Bakersfield Heart 
Hospital, doctors and nurses for their loving care at this difficult time. 
Visitation will be held Monday, September 12, 2005, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
