Esequiel R. Carranza 
April 10, 1940 - August 16, 2005 

Graveside services will be held today, Friday, August 19, at 9:30 a.m. in 
Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd., for Esequiel R. Carranza, 65, who 
passed away August 16, 2005, in Bakersfield. Pastor Brian Allard will 
officiate. Mr. Carranza was born on April 10, 1940, in Mexico and resided in 
Kern County for five years. He worked as a farm laborer for 25 years. Mr. 
Carranza is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Christina and Thomas 
Wilson, Cynthia and Joe Ramirez and Corina and Lupe Lopez; son, Esequiel 
Carranza Jr., all of Delano; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and 
sisters, Hipolita Oros, Mary Alvarado and Olivido Perez. Casketbearers will be 
Lupe Lopez Jr., Esequiel Carranza III, David Carrillo, Gary Oros, Frank Oros, 
Jr., and Gabriel Ulloa.
