Services: Tues., March 29, 2005

Funeral services for Virginia Lee Carrington will be held Tuesday, March 29, 
2005, at Jerusalem Mission Church of God in Christ, 924 So. Cottonwood Rd., 
with interment to follow at Union Cemetery. Elder Donald Harris will 
officiate. 

Virginia Lee Carrington was born April 6, 1932, in East St. Louis, Illinois, 
and had resided in Bakersfield for 50 years. She is survived by her ex-husband 
and best friend, Paul Clemons of Bakersfield; her sons and daughters-in-law, 
Eric and Lorraine Clemons, Gregory and Kimberly Clemons, and Kevin and Kamika 
Clemons, all of Bakersfield; her daughters and sons-in-law, Frances and Elder 
Donald Harris, Karen and Robert Watson, all of Bakersfield, Tami and David 
Griffith of Oceanside, CA, Paula and Ralph Lopes of Bonsall, CA, Marla and 
Earl Turner of Philadelphia, PA, Winona Coston of Bakersfield, Damitira and 
Sean Wright of Northridge, CA, and Caroline Swain of Bakersfield; brothers, 
Richard Phinnessee and Darryl Phinnessee; god sister, Effie Coulter; special 
friend, Diane Richardson; 34 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 28, 2005, from 12 8 p.m., with an hour 
of meditation this evening, Monday, March 28, 2005, from 7 8 p.m.
