Ignacio grew up in Douglas, Arizona. He joined the Army at the young age of 15 to serve his country during World War II. During his time overseas he had many experiences that he enjoyed sharing with his friends and family. He was loved and respected by his family. Ignacio was lovingly referred to as Grandpa Nacho and Pacho by his great-grandson. Ignacio is preceded in death by wife, Lucy and son, Jimmy Castaneda. He is survived by his daughters, Joann and son-in-law, Pat Malich, Carol and Son in- law, Phillip Robles; son, Martin Castaneda and daughter-in-law, Lisa; grandchildren, Gina Robles, Debra and husband, Glen Doering, Jeremiah Malich, Michele Robles, Richard Castaneda and Robert; great-grand-children, Phillip Elliot and Lucy Vail Doering. Visitation will be held March 18, 2005 from 2 to 8 p.m. at Hopson-Anspach Family Mortuary, 620 Oregon Street. Services will be held at Valley Bible Fellowship, 2300 E.
