Pallbearers will be Juan Jose Castro Jr., Michael Roberts, Martin Castro, David Castro, Albert Castro and Rudy Castro. Honorary Pallbearers will be his compadres, Ray P., Frank, Ray S., Ron and Hector. Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Guadalupe Castro; brother, Frank Castro and sister, Rebecca Castro. Joe is survived by his wife of 26 years, Mary Castro; daughter and son-in-law, Nanette and Cisco Hernandez; son, Juan Jose Joey Castro Jr.; daughter, Andrea Renee Castro; daughter, Andrian Raquel Castro; sisters, Gloria, Juanita, Lupita and Letty; brothers, Martin, David, Albert, Arnold and Rudy; 3 grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and compees. Joe was a loving family man, he loved his family dearly. He was an avid Raider fan don't talk about his Raiders because he was always coming back defending them saying, Oh next time well get that team. He also took up golf, he loved golfing very much. He used to say, Im little Joe Tigre. He loved being with his family and friends especially with his compees playing dominoes and shooting the breeze. Joe was a painter. He took great pride in his work. You can almost say he was a perfectionist. He once said, I like taking things that seem ugly and turning them into something beautiful.
