James E. Conley 
Nov. 28, 1946 - July 20, 2005 

James E. Conley was born on November 28, 1946, in Crystal Springs, 
Mississippi. He was a retired Kern County Sheriffs Detective. He also served 
in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. James passed away on Wednesday, 
July 20, 2005, in Franklin, Wisconsin. He is survived by his mother, Johnnie 
Earl Conley; three sisters, Virginia Carter, De Lois Hunter and Ruby Thomas; 
his wife, Nancy Conley; his sons, Timothy Sean Conley and Scott Allen; and his 
granddaughter, Marissa Conley. He has gone on to be with his father, James 
Paul Conley. He is deeply loved and truly will be missed. Visitation will be 
held at Hillcrest Mortuary on Thursday, July 28th, between 4-8 p.m. Memorial 
services will be on Friday, July 29th, at 10:00 a.m., at Hillcrest Chapel. 
Graveside ceremony immediately following.
