Stanley was born August 18, 1952, in Memphis, TN and he passed away in Bakersfield, CA, on August 25, 2005. Stan was married to his high school and lifetime love, Joy Lynn Craft of Bakersfield, for 35 years. He served proudly as a United States Marine during the Vietnam conflict. Stan is survived by his loving wife, Joy Lynn Craft; his siblings, Billy Wayne, James Lee, Margaret Irene Steers; his children, Richard Joseph, Amy Leigh, Michael Allen and Rachelle Marie; his grandchildren, Devin Stanley, Clayton Elisha, KayLynn Marie, and Michael Levi; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Tessie Craft. Stan worshipped Christ Jesus with his family at Vessels of Honor Ministries in Bakersfield, where he served as an usher and greeter, along with many other positions in the church throughout his life. Stan enjoyed spending time with his wife, visits to the beach, attending church retreats and childrens camps. Our thanks to the many people who have loved Stan throughout his life. A special thanks to Teen Challenge of Shafter, Pastors Charles and Sylvia Lack, Pastors Bob and Louisa Campbell and the people of Vessels of Honor Ministries for all of your love and prayers.
