Marvin Edward Dachtler 
1958 - 2005 
Services: Sat., Dec. 17, 12:00 p.m. 

Born and raised in Bakersfield, CA, Marvin started working at the age of 16 in 
the chemical business. He continued his career there for 24 years, graduated 
top of his class from BHS. A great storyteller, he loved to hunt and enjoyed 
his work. He was a man of integrity, a wonderful son, husband and father. 
Marvin is loved by many and will be deeply missed by all. Marvin has joined 
his sister, Suzette in Heaven with our loving Father Jesus. He is survived by 
his wife, Pamela; son, Nicholas and daughter, Megan; parents, James and Ruby; 
brothers, Arvle and Dennis; sisters, Betty and Lana and husband, Howard; many 
nieces, nephews and close friend, Jess Karr. A celebration of life will be 
held on Saturday, 12:00 p.m., 15424 Calistoga Ave., Bakersfield, CA 93314.
