Francis (Fran) Davis 
Oct. 6, 1947 - Oct. 29, 2005 

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 10:30 a.m. at Greenlawn 
Southwest Memorial Chapel, 2739 Panama Lane. Pastor Norman Fortenberry will 
officiate. Francis was born Oct. 6, 1947 in Cuba, NY and died Oct. 29, 2005 in 
Bakersfield, CA at home with his wife and son at his side. Fran was survived 
by his wife, Rennie; son, Jon and wife, Teena; daughter, Mary; niece, Kristy; 
mother, Ruth; brother, Dick; brother, Mick and wife, Marj; 9 nephews; 1 niece 
and 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by father Curly and sister, Mary 
Helen. Fran was a resident of Kern County since 1978. Fran attended schools in 
New York and graduated from Archbishop Walsh class of 66", in Olean, NY. After 
serving time in the Navy he moved to Bakersfield in1978 and worked in the oil 
fields ever since. The last 22 years he worked at Elk Hills for Key Energy and 
considered everyone up there his extended family and loved them all. Fran 
enjoyed reading Westerns, fishing with friends, playing pool with his friends 
at the westfair and going to Nevada. There will be a reception following the 
service at the family residence. Visitation will be on Nov. 4 at 12:00 P.M. to 
9:00 P.M.
