Alfredo Garcia DeLaRosa (El De La Flor) 
Apr. 17, 1936 - Oct. 6, 2005 

Visitation for Alfredo Garcia DeLaRosa will be held at Basham Funeral Care 
(3312 Niles St.) on Sunday, October 9, 2005 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Rosary and the 
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church 
on Monday morning, October 10, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Alfredo was born April 17, 
1936 in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico and he passed away on October 6, 2005 in 
Bakersfield, California with his family by his bedside. He is preceded in 
death by his grandson, Anthony De Jesus. He is survived by his daughter and 
son-in-law, Maria and Michael Frausto; daughter, Patricia Contreras; son, Joe 
DeLaRosa; son and daughter-in-law, Julio and Lydia DeLaRosa; daughter, Diana 
DeLaRosa; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Catalina Galindo; 
sister and brother-in-law, Teresa and Rosario Torres; sister and brother-in-
law, Elvira and Gabino Gonzales; sister and brother-in-law, Consuelo and 
Alberto Blanco as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and 
friends. Alfredo was a loving father and brother, he loved to play jokes on 
his sisters. He loved to dance and he enjoyed watching his favorite wrestler, 
Ray Misterio with his grandkids. He was loved by all that knew him and he will
