Angel was born January 21, 1928 in Badoc, Ilocos Norte Philippines. He worked a a farm labor contractor and had lived in the area for 56 years. Angel was a member of the Filipino Senior Citizens of Delano, Filipino Catholic Association, a member of Badoquenos Association of California, and the founder and past president of The Ilocanians Organization of California. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Veronica De Macabalin; sons, Chris and wife, Melinda, Porterville, Jeff Sr. and wife, Marie, Pixley, Clark Sr. and wife, Denise, Lathrop, Rex, Woodbridge, Virginia; daughters, Juanita, Delano, Margaret and husband, Bert Ruiz Jr., Delano, Angelica and husband, Salomon De La Cueva Jr., Delano; 23 loving grandchildren; 23 loving great-grandchildren; sisters, Aurora De Macabalin and Rolanda Birondo, both of Livermore and a loving large family of lots of nieces and nephews, friend and loved ones! Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, January 28, 2006, 8 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Father Rick Fierros will officiate.Pallbearers will be Chris De Macabalin, Jeff De Macabalin Sr., Clark De Macabalin Sr., Rex De Macabalin, Bert Ruiz Jr., Salomon De La Cueva Jr., Jeff De Macabalin Jr., and Frankie Almaguer Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Clark De Macabalin Jr., Joshua De Macabalin Sr., Justin De Macabalin, Carlos Ruiz, Angel Ruiz and Danilo Caraan Jr. Interment will be in North Kern District Cemetery.
