Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal 
Services: Sat., Dec. 17, 9:00 a.m. 

Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal passed away peacefully on December 14, 2005 after 
living a fulfilling life. Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 17th, 
9:00 a.m., at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Chapel, 2739 Panama Lane, 
Bakersfield. Prayers will be held at the Sikh Temple, 8100 Stine Road, in 
Bakersfield, at 12:30 p.m., on the same day. Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal was born 
in Moga, Punjab on March 24, 1924. He was the son of Bhan Singh and Ram Kaur. 
Balwinder was a business man, and he worked in the cattle industry for thirty 
years before immigrating to California in 1981. Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal was a 
very caring, playful, generous, warm hearted man who loved everyone. He loved 
to cook and was a master craftsman. Balwinder was a very hard worker, 
thoughtful husband, loving father, adoring grandfather, and a faithful friend. 
Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal is survived by two sons, Gurcharn and Gurbakhash; 
three daughters, Gursharn, Gurtej, and Gurpreet; and two daughters-in-law, 
Sarbjit and Harjit. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren, Goldy, 
Gorkha, Binky, Shanu, and Kiran and granddaughter-in-law, Sandeep. Eight other 
loving grandchildren, also survive him. Balwinder will be dearly missed by his 
family and friends. He will always remain in our hearts, with great fondness 
and love. Love you always Papa Ji.
