The third of five children raised in Bakersfield, went to St. Francis Grammar School and Bakersfield High School. Dennis met his beloved wife Charla in Fresno, California where he resided until his passing. While in Bakersfield, Dennis worked for King Lumber Company and Mobil Chemical before moving to Fresno, California where he worked as a truck driver until the time of death for American Metals. He is survived by his loving wife, Charla, and her children, Cynthia Baber and her husband, Brian of Scottsdale, Arizona, Craig Schneider and his wife, Mary of Lexington Park, Maryland, Robert Schneider and his wife, Brenda of Mechanicsville, Maryland and four grandchildren, William, Heather, Zane and Shelby. Dennis is also survived by sisters, Donna and her husband, Gordon Day of Sequim, WA, Sheila and her husband, Roy Eynaud of Bakersfield, CA, Mary and her husband, Dr. Joseph Murley of Portland, OR; brother, Thomas M. Duggan of San Luis Obispo, CA and many nieces and nephews. Dennis loved going to the mountains, especially Mineral King, fishing and enjoying the outdoors. He was a man of integrity, very generous person, enjoyed everyone whom he met and loved telling stories of his lifetime adventures. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him; we will all take comfort in knowing he will be spending his first Christmas with his mom and dad in Heaven.
