J.W. Daves

Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 28, 2005, at 10:00 a.m., at 
Hillcrest Memorial Park, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, for J.W. Daves, who passed 
away April 20, 2005, at the age of 71. J.W. was born on February 26, 1934 in 
El Paso, Texas to James and Elizabeth Daves. 

J.W. was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley, in 1993. He is survived by 
his children and their spouses, James and Diana Daves, Debbie and Mike 
Colbert, Sheryl and Jerry Guantes, Richard Daves and Brian Daves; 12 
grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 27, 2005, from 4-8 p.m., at Hillcrest 
Mortuary. Pastor Ken Noel from Victory Chapel will officiate at the service.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Shawn Ivey, Ryan Daves, Jeffrey Colbert, Jason 
Colbert, Jerry Guantes and longtime family friend, Ernie Obert.
