Gary Lynn Douglas 
June 17, 1949 - May 17, 2005 

A viewing and visitation will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2005, for Gary Lynn 
Douglas, 56, of Bakersfield, CA from 1-8 p.m., in the Chapel of Beloved Care 
Funeral Services, 115 18th St., Bakersfield, CA, with a meditation/wake 
scheduled from 5-7 p.m. A committal service will be held on Friday, May 20, 
2005, 9:00 a.m., at Union Cemetery. Gary Douglas (White) was born July 17, 
1949. He was the fifth child born to Betty Hattie Douglas in Bakersfield, CA. 
Gary spent the majority of his life in Bakersfield. He graduated from East 
Bakersfield H.S. Gary then started his 16-year career as an Engineer for 
Southern Pacific Railroad. During that time he also had two beautiful 
children, Gary Lyon and Amanda Hattie. He was preceded in death by his 
brother, David Douglas and mother, Betty Hattie Douglas. Gary leaves behind a 
brother, Raymond Douglas; two sisters, Gloria George and Marlene Crawford; two 
children, Amanda Hattie Douglas and Gary Lyon Douglas; as well as numerous 
nieces and nephews. For all additional service information please call (661)
