Lorri J. Drendel 
Jan. 21, 1933 - Aug. 22, 2005 

Holy Rosary will be recited Sunday, August 28, at 7:00 p.m., at Hopson-Anspach 
Family Mortuary for Lorri J. Drendel, age 72, of Bakersfield who passed away 
August 22, 2005. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-9 p.m. in the Chapel at 
Hopson-Anspach. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., 
Monday, August 29, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 124 Columbus, Bakersfield 
and burial will follow at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Park. Mrs. Drendel was 
born January 21, 1933 to Walter and Delma Drendel in Cottonwood, California. 
She had been a resident of Bakersfield since 1994. She was a bookkeeper and 
enjoyed working for the County of Kern. She was a woman of strong faith and a 
member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. She had a deep love for 
her family and will be forever cherished by them. She is survived by her 
children, Loretta J. Madera and husband, Richard, Don Greif, Jr. and wife, 
Lita, Tera Kaufmann and husband, Hans, Deby Herdrich and Barbara Greif. Nana 
loved her grandchildren dearly, Devon Victor, Melissa, Marlon, Jason, Nicky, 
Madison and Paige. She was preceded in death by Don Vic Greif. Special thanks 
go out to Moms fellow employees who were so gracious these past few months. 
The family wishes to acknowledge all those who cared for Lorri in her time of 
need and showed her kindness.
