Frank Munoz Escobedo
8/21/1932 - 11/24/2005 

A graveside service will be conducted by Peters Funeral Home for Frank 
Escobedo, age 73, at Shafter Memorial Park on Tuesday, November 29, 2005, at 
2:00 p.m. Pastor David Stepp of the Bakersfield Hispanic Church will 
officiate. Frank was born in Westlaco, Texas, to Elijio and Trinidad Escobedo. 
He came to Wasco in 1972, and was self-employed by as a butcher until the late 
1980s; and then was employed by the Kern County Sheriff's Department until his 
retirement. His final job was as a crossing guard shortly before his death. At 
the time of his death he was living in Bakersfield with his son, Jesse. Frank 
was preceded in death by his parents, Elijio and Trinidad Escobedo; sons, 
Oscar and Johnny Escobedo; brother, John Escobedo; sister, Angelica Gonzales. 
He is survived sons, Raul and wife, Nancy of Sacramento, Frank and wife, Eva 
of Shafter, Jesse Escobedo and Armando Escobedo of Bakersfield; daughter, 
Frances and husband, Carlos Trujillo of Bakersfield; daughter-in-law, Deliah 
Escobedo of Shafter; 30 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
