Mary Louise Elissague 
Aug. 1, 1935 - Aug. 19, 2005 

Memorial services will be held Thursday, August 25, 2005, 10:00 a.m., at 
Riverlakes Community Church, 4301 Calloway Dr., Bakersfield, CA. Mary was born 
and raised in Bakersfield. She attended and graduated from the Kern High 
School District (Bakersfield High School) and Bakersfield College. This is 
where she met and later married Donald Eugene Elissague on November 23, 1955. 
Mary and Donald were married for almost 25 years when Donald passed away due 
to cancer in 1980. After Donalds death, Mary began her career with H&R Block 
Premium Tax Service where she worked for 22 years. In her free time, she 
enjoyed evening walks, swimming and sewing. Mary was preceded in death by her 
husband and parents. She is survived by her son, Ronald and wife, Shelly of 
Bakersfield; son, Michael and wife, Cindy of Tehachapi; and son, Carl and 
wife, Toni of Bakersfield; her sister, Helen Leonard and husband, Jim of 
Arroyo Grande; and sister, Jacque Ritchie of Santa Rosa. She is also survived 
by 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Mary 
was a wonderful, caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be 
missed by all those she knew. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her 
memory to the Riverlakes Community Church, 4301 Calloway Drive, Bakersfield, 
93312, c/o Pastor Milt Cole.
