Beulah was the oldest of three children and they grew up in the Granite Station area on a cattle ranch before moving to the McFarland and Shafter areas. She attended local school in McFarland and she later graduated from Shafter High School in 1929. In her early years, while working as a florist, she met and married Jack Hare and together they had a daughter, Donna Hare Sandoval. As WWII began, she worked at Lockheed and then served as a dietician at a naval base in Idaho. In 1955, Beulah met and married Staff Sgt. Leon Krebsbach in the state of Washington. During a tour to Japan, they adopted three children, Pete Krebsbach of Bakersfield, Phyllisann Chavarria of Bakersfield and Jerry Krebsbach of Jacksonville, Florida. Beulah enjoyed the traveling that the military gave her. She also enjoyed square dancing, fishing and doing arts and crafts. After the death of her husband Leon, she returned to Bakersfield and opened a ceramic shop on Alta Vista Drive and then later went in with a friend and opened a shop on Chester Avenue. Besides her children, Beulah leaves to cherish her memory her grandchildren, Jeff and Rick Sandoval; Corrine Brehmer, all of Bakersfield; Carlos Chavarria of Camp Pendleton; nephews, Mike Gray of Bakersfield; Jim Engle of Long Beach and Jerry Engle of Bakersfield; great-grandchildren, Whitney, Taylor, Hillary, Nicholas and Zack Sandoval all of Bakersfield.
