Her family moved to Minkler, California when she was 2 years old where she grew up, went to school and met her husband, Arnold Niemeyer. Arnold and Audrey were married May 12, 1935 by their uncle, Rev. Leslie Gee, at Sanger Church. They began a ministry preaching the gospel at Parlier Church and Live Oak Church. Arnold and Audrey were devoted to sharing the love of Jesus Christ and pastored several churches before moving to Bakersfield, California where they were the founders and builders of Faith Temple Pentecostal Church of God. She also spent many a summer preparing meals for the young people of the youth camp at Bethel in the Hills. After some years of service at Faith Temple, her husband was elected as District Superintendent Pentecostal Church of God Southern California District. Arnold and Audrey then moved to Fullerton, California where Audrey accompanied Arnold to many district functions and churches. Arnold and Audrey would eventually return to pastor Faith Temple and Audrey began to focus on creating a warm and caring household in which her many grandchildren could visit. Audrey was faithful to reading her Bible every day and often read through the entire Bible every year. She kept busy tending to her house, sewing, crocheting, cooking and keeping up on current events. Audrey loved to talk to people and would take up a friendly conversation with everyone she would meet. She attended church faithfully until her health made it difficult to do so.
