He joined his heavenly father at 4:50 AM on December 20, 2005 surrounded by his family at the Fargo home. Andrew attended Readyland Preschool, Heritage Academy, Carden Grammar School, Compton Junior High, Garces High School and graduated from St. Marys College in Moraga with a BA degree in communications. After college he lived and learned at the Orientation Center for the Blind in Albany, California for one year. He has lived the past five years in Sacramento where his life was filled with friends and travel. Travels took Andrew to Europe, England, Scotland, Ireland, Mexico and to most of the 50 states. His curious nature kept him constantly learning and he was extremely knowledgeable about everything from sports and astronomy to the stock market. Fiercely independent and extremely kind hearted, Andrew lived his life with dignity. He had a sharp wit and a keen sense of humor. Andrews life was difficult starting at an early age. He was five when doctors first found a tumor on the pituitary gland. Multiple surgeries, procedures and medications gave us 29 wonderful years. The brain tumor became untreatable in November. Special thanks to all the wonderful people at Hoffman Hospice, especially Ann, Kathy and Stephanie. Andrews team at UCSF who served with knowledge and compassion: Dr. Charles Wilson, Dr. David Larson, Dr. Sandeep Kunwar and Dr. James Rubenstein. Waiting in heaven was Andrews mother, Daphane Fargo and his precious dog, Fawn. He has left to cherish his memory his father, Bill Fargo and wife Naudine; sisters Becky and husband Dick Porter, Robyn Fargo and Mark Garibaldi; niece, Brittany Porter; nephew, Tucker Porter; girlfriend, Brooklyn Rodden. Pallbearers will be Charlie Hall, Dan Slifer, Pete Kelly, Elisa Clark, Andy Hurley, Rob Tepolt, Jasen Hershberger, Nina Vranes, Brandon Feldman, Damian Hunt, Jack Mulligan and Paul Cochrun.
