Dotty Hewes 
Services: Tues., Nov. 29, 10 a.m. 

Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Mortuary, 3700 River Blvd., on 
Tuesday, November 29th, at 10:00 a.m. for Dotty Hewes, 73, who passed away 
Nov. 20, 2005 at her home in Alta Sierra. Dotty was born in Ferguson, Missouri 
on April 21, 1932 to Walter and Louise Fehrlage. She met LT while he was in 
the service. They married on April 25, 1953. Dotty worked at Pepsi Cola in 
Bakersfield for 37 years, and retired in 1994. She is survived by her husband 
of 52 years, LT Hewes; sister, Judy Fehrlage; 3 daughters, Deborah Wold, Sebra 
Engel, Michele King; son, Tom Hewes; daughter-in-law, Jean; son-in-laws, Dusty 
and Tim; 13 grandchildren and 9 great- grandchildren. Dotty loved the cabin 
and community in Alta Sierra. She will be missed and loved by all who knew 
her. Visitation will be held Monday, November 28th, from 6-8 p.m., at 
Hillcrest Mortuary, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, in Bakersfield, California.
