William E. Fidler (Bill) 
July 18, 1931 - November 15, 2005 

Bill passed away at his home in Cambria, CA on September 15, 2005. He and his 
wife, Fran have lived in Cambria since retiring from running their Business 
Valley Decal Inc. in 1992. He and Fran have lived in Cambria fulltime since 
then. He is preceded in death by his father, Wayne Fidler; mother, Mable 
Fidler and brother, Richard Fidler. He is survived by his wife, Fran Fidler; 
daughters, Jan and husband, Eddie Corrigan, Julie and husband, Bruce and 
daughter, Kathy Fisher. He also had 5 grandchildren, Candace Cable, Kasey 
Cable, Chris Ferguson, Wayne Ferguson and William Ferguson, all of which he 
enjoyed very much. Bill was a very loving and giving man to all who knew him. 
He will be greatly missed by all. He was Past Captain of the Kern County 
Sheriffs Mounted Posse, also Past President of the East Bakersfield Exchange 
Club, as well as a Mason and a member of the Kern Co. Shriners. Bill lived a 
very full life enjoying his family and friends and his horses a lot of whom he 
has lost and met up with again. At Bills wishes there will be no services, but 
a celebration of his life will be planned at a later time.
