Clifford Jay Flowers 
1958 - 2005 

Clifford Jay Flowers, August 25, 1958. Clifford was born in Lynwood, 
California to Violet Flowers and Rouben Flowers. Clifford resided here in 
Bakersfield until his passing. Clifford is survived by his mother, Violet 
Flowers of Bakersfield; his father, Rouben Flowers of Ripon; his brother, 
Curtis and wife, Belinda Flowers of Bakersfield; his sister, Arnell and 
husband, Murry Land of Bakersfield. Clifford is also survived by nephews and 
nieces, Curtis Jr. and wife, Shanan Flowers, Matthew Flowers and fiancée, 
Shannon McAbee, Bradley Flowers, Kyle Land, Codi Flowers, Kalista Flowers, 
Kaden Flowers and his aunts, Evelyn Maloy and Loraine Owens. Clifford enjoyed 
music and was an avid collector of music and memorabilia. He never met a 
stranger and everyone who came into contact with him immediately became his 
friend. The family would like to thank all the people who showed Clifford 
their compassion and friendship. Each friend became special to Clifford and 
brought many joys to his life. Clifford will be greatly missed. Viewing will 
be held Tuesday, December 13, 2005, at Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary, 
9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, CA from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Chapel services 
will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2005, at 2:00 p.m.
