Services: Mon., Jan. 9, 10:00 a.m. 

Chapel service will be held at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Park, 2739 Panama 
Ln. on Monday, January 9, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Jeanette Frances Foy was born 
March 24, 1938 in Taft, California, where she met and married and had two 
children. She moved to Bakersfield where she started a Beauty School and 
became a beautician for the next 25 years. Jeanette and her daughter owned a 
business, which she enjoyed after retiring from doing hair. She loved camping, 
fishing, crafts, sewing, and reading. She was a loving mother, grandmother, 
and friend. She especially loved spending time with her family and will be 
truly missed by those who knew and loved her. Jeanette was preceded in death 
by her parents, George and Yoli Greening; her husband, John Foy; and grandson, 
Brandon Spurgin. She is survived by her daughter and son; Jacquie and Mike 
Carrete, Jeff and Diane Foy; grandchildren, Shannon Spurgin, Nicholas Spurgin, 
Stephen Spurgin, Darren Spurgin, Jesse Esposito, Cole Foy, Jennifer Blessner; 
great-grandchildren, Taylor Christie, Haley Wolfe, Julianna Ross, and Grace 
Jones. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Nan Rizo, Jimmy Eggert, 
Michael Eggert, Rocky Hill, Brent Hill, and Scott Hill. We would like to send 
a sincere Thank You to San Joaquin Hospital 3rd floor staff for their 
compassion and caring for our family at this difficult time. Private 
visitation only.
