Odessa Geneva Duford 
Oct. 18, 1920 - Sept. 19, 2005 

Visitation for Odessa Geneva Duford will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 
Niles Street) on Wednesday, September 21, 2005 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral 
services will be held at Calvary Tabernacle (601 Panama Lane) on Thursday, 
September 22, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Arvin Cemetery. 
Pastor Jimmy Pulse will officiate. Odessa was born October 18, 1920 in Arthur, 
Texas and she passed away September 19, 2005 in Lamont, California with her 
family by her bed side. She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Nina 
Francis; first husband, Edwin Moore; second husband, William E. Duford; 
daughter, Dorothy Glass; son, Wes Duford; grandson, Lonnie Moore; grandson, 
James Glass; great-grandson, Jonathan Bell; five brothers and three sisters. 
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Margaret Moore, 
Cecil and Shirley Moore, William and Doris Duford Sr., Ronnie and Donna 
Duford; daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Kenneth Blackwood and Debra 
and Gary Scott; 27 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; 15 great- great-
grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Bobbie and J.B. Powell as well as 
numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Our mom was a well 
respected and loved mother. She loved to work in her yard and taking care of 
her garden. She loved the Lord with all of her heart and she was a member of 
Calvary Tabernacle for many years. She loved her children and grandchildren 
very much. Our mom and grandma was loved by all that knew her and she will be
