All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ca/cafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: K T bluewolf@onemain.com November 9, 2005, 10:31 pm The Bakersfield Californian Fultz Jr., Henry Edward 1923 - 2005 Henry Edward Fultz Jr. Jan. 17, 1923 - Nov. 7, 2005 A graveside service for Henry Fultz Jr., 82, will be held Thursday, November 10th, at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Park, 2739 Panama Ln., at 1:00 pm., with close family friend Rev. Norm Campbell presiding. Immediately following will be the Memorial Service at 2:30 p.m., in the Blue Chapel, at Bakersfield First Assembly, 4901 California Ave., with longtime friend Rev. Fred Cottriel officiating. Henry was the only child born to Gertrude and Henry Sr. on January 17, 1923 in Bakersfield. He lived in Bakersfield all his life except for his tour of duty during World War II. In 1943, Henry joined the Army Air Corps and served in the 454th Bomber Squadron, 323rd Bombardment Group in the European campaign. Henry was active in the family owned Kern Printing Company for over forty years. He was a charter member and served on various boards of Bakersfield First Assembly of God. Henry also served on the boards of the Bakersfield Rescue Mission and Guardian Savings and Loan. Henry recently celebrated 60 years of marriage with his wife, Jeanne. He is also survived by their four children, Gary (and Linda) Fultz, of Bakersfield; Dwayne Fultz, of Posey; Janell (and Dan) Campbell, of Escondido; and Sheryl (and Ron) Chapman, of Bakersfield. Mr. Fultz leaves behind 5 grandsons: Andrew (and Melody) Campbell, Scott and Jared Campbell, Nicholas (and Annah) Chapman, and Cameron Chapman. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Foreign Missions Department of Bakersfield First Assembly of God, 4901 California Ave., Bakersfield, CA 93309.
