Raymond Furey

Raymond moved to Monolith in 1953, then to Tehachapi in 1955.

He was survived by a son, Raymond Dale Furey; a daughter, Wanda Furey Dugan 
and her husband Chip Dugan; grandchildren Philip and Michael Journagan; great-
grandchildren Austin Burgeis of Bakersfield and Caleb Herring Waner of 
Robbins, Ga.; nephew James G Journagan; and niece Wilma Journagan King.

Raymond loved country music and playing the guitar. He made sure his children, 
nephew and niece had their first musical instruments.

He loved riding motorcycles, taking trips with friends and helping out his 
friends on the job at Monolith.
