She is survived by her son, Zachary Yeager; mother, Virginia Farris; brother and sister-in-law, Kenny and Suzie Farris; brother and sister-in-law, Walter and Julie Farris; sister, Elsie Farris; brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Summer Farris; brother, Frank Farris; brother, Ken Chamberlin; brother, David Chamberlin; sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Steve Shirley as well as countless nieces, nephews and friends. Laura played softball in junior high and high school very well as a young teen. She also played in band in high school. Laura learned to drive on the race track at the age of 15. She raced at Bakersfield Speedway until she was 32 years of age. Racing was her passion. She loved racing with her family and friends, especially with her father who taught her. The other love of her life was her son, Zachary, who she loved spending her time with and watching him grow up. Her career goal and dream job was to be an E.M.T. at Hall Ambulance. Laura had many friends and fans at the racetrack who loved her as well as her multiple family members. Laura had a great personality and loved joking around. She made everyone she met smile and laugh when they were around her. She would always be the first to lend a helping hand. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
