Frank served in the military during World War II and received a Bronze and two Silver medals. He was very proud of his Army Combat Badge. Frank moved to Bakersfield as a young boy and later married Lupe Gamino on March 9, 1945. Frank and Lupe moved to Lake Isabella, California in 1965 to enjoy the small town atmosphere of the Kern River Valley. Frank was predeceased by his parents, Alex and Edna and his grandson, Kenneth Torres. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Lupe Figueroa; his daughter, Beckie Figueroa; his son, Frank and wife, Barb Figueroa and son, Greg and his wife, Marie Figueroa; brother, Phillip Parades and sister, Frances Parades, 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Special thanks to Dr. Saiki and his staff at Bakersfield Dialysis Center, also the nurses at CAPD, Kelly, Yvonne and Roxie.
