Services: Fri., Mar. 25, 10:00 a.m. 

Funeral services will be held Friday, 10 a.m., March 25, 2005, in the Great 
Room at Mission Family Mortuary, 531 California Ave. at S Street, for Ralena 
Elizabeth Fowler, widow of the late Dr. Frederick C. Fowler, MD. She died 
March 22nd in her home after an extended illness. Rev. Jack Taylor will 
officiate and entombment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.

She was a native of Waldon, Tennessee and has lived in Bakersfield for the 
past 60 years. She received her education in local schools and graduated from 
Kern Union High School.

She was a devoted wife and friend to all. She loved animals and was a devout 
Methodist never forgetting her heritage and was a generous gift giver to her 
numerous charitable organizations. In her later life she traveled with her 
husband and loved to play bridge, and after her onset of illness became more 
closer to her home, and friends and family.

She is survived by her nephew Don Culp and his wife, Phyllis; a sister-in-law, 
Jeannie Noe; and Maynard and his wife. She also leaves her very dear special 
friends, David and Janet Lee. David and Janet wish to thank Mona Taylor, Cathy 
Kincaid, Isabell Cordova, and the Angels from Hoffman Hospice.

Visitation will be Today from 9:00 a.m. til 5:00 p.m. at Mission Family 
Mortuary, 531 California Ave., at S Street.
