Robert Harrison Frye, Jr. July 26, 1939 - March 18, 2005 Robert Harrison Frye, 
Jr., 65, passed away Friday, March 18, 2005 at home, of a blood clot to the 
brain. He is survived by his wife, Shirley of 28 years; stepson John C. Evans; 
step-daughter-in-law Nancy K Evans; daughter Vickie Renee Bohannon; son-in-law 
Bo Bohannon; grandson Stephen Mears; step-granddaughter Ashley Bohannon of 
Bakersfield; daughter Roberta Sue Houck; son-in-law Joseph Cory Houck; 
grandson Michael Allen Sweeney of Pennsylvania; granddaughter Shaena Blithe 
Sweeney; grandson Christopher Ryan Sweeney of Bakersfield. Robert served in 
Airborne Troop 509 Germany in 1963. Formerly a barber at The Mission Inn, 
Riverside, CA. He retired from Parks Dept, City of Bakersfield after 23 years. 
He was cremated at Union Cemetery by Neptune Society. His ashes will be 
scattered at sea, at Newport Beach, CA. No other services are scheduled.
