Nicholas Garcia Basquez 
Jan. 6, 1927 - Oct. 9, 2005 

Wake service will be held Thursday, October 13, 2005, 7:00 p.m., at the Delano 
Apostolic Assembly, 1101 Albany St., Delano. Funeral service will be held on 
Friday, October 14, 2005, 10:00 a.m., also at Delano Apostolic Assembly. 
Interment to follow at North Kern District Cemetery, in Delano. Nicholas 
Garcia Basquez was born January 6, 1927, in Canutio, Texas and passed away 
October 9, 2005, in Delano, CA. He is survived by his wife, Theresa; his 
daughters, Gloria, Irene, Mary and Linda; his sons, Alexander and David; 
sister, Ramona Venegas; brothers, Jesus Venegas and Armando Chavez among with 
12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Nicholas was preceded in death by 
his granddaughter, Beth Basquez on October 5, 1981 and his grandson, Alexander 
Nicholas Basquez on June 1, 1998.
