Ruth Elizabeth Godfray 
Dec. 20, 1925 - Jan. 29, 2006 


He guides the humble in what is right and He teaches them His way. Psalm 25:9 
Ruth was born on December 20, 1925 in Roswell, N.M. She passed away after a 
sudden illness on January 29, 2006. A celebration of her life with the country 
and mountain music she loved will be privately held by the family. Ruth was 
preceded in death by her husbands, Charles E. Farley and Walter L. Godfray. 
She is survived by her beloved only son, Mickey E. Farley and his wife, 
Cherylanne L. Farley; her sister, Naomi Gaede of Sun City, AZ ; her niece, 
Tina of Lafayette, CO. Ruth lived as a humble servant of the Lord quietly in 
Tehachapi, CA for over 40 years. In lieu of flowers the family requests 
donations made to the Tehachapi Branch, Kern County Library. But Ruth replied, 
Don't urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go 
and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my 
God. Ruth 1:16
