Elizabeth Ann Goldberg (Betty) 
Services: Fri., Nov. 18, 3:00 p.m. 

Services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd., for 
Elizabeth Ann Betty Goldberg, 69, who passed away November 11, 2005. Betty was 
born on July 13, 1936, in Mansfield, Ohio and resided in Kern County for 53 
years. She worked as a computer operator for Donald Goldberg Inc. for 15 
years. Betty raised, bred and showed Arabian Horses. She won many awards with 
Pegasus, her pride and joy. She loved her family so much that she would find a 
reason to have family gatherings. From all her travels she enjoyed Italy and 
Israel the most. She was a member of Temple Beth El where she was past 
president. Betty is survived by her daughter, Viviann Ricards and husband, 
Rick; son, Rennie Goldberg; son and daughter-in-law, Grant and Judy Goldberg; 
her childrens father, Don Goldberg, all of Bakersfield; brother and sister-in-
law, Greg and Rita Huber of Manteca, CA; sister, Delane Walker of Elk Grove; 
brother-in-law, Ray Carothers of Elk Grove; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-
grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by 
her parents, Ann and Jack LaRue; brother, James Huber and sister, Anita 
Carothers. Visitation begins Thursday, 3:00 - 9:00 p.m.
