Mary Addington 
Jan. 2, 1929 - Dec. 19, 2005 

Mary Addington was 76 years old when she was called to the Lord on Monday, 
December 19th at 7:20 p.m. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday December 28th 
at 4:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Chapel. Followed by Rosary Services at 6:00 
p.m. Chapel services are scheduled for Thursday December 29th at 10:00 a.m. 
immediately followed by graveside services. Friends and Family are invited to 
celebrate Marys life after graveside services at a location to be announced. 
Mary was preceded in death by her parents Victoriano and Luz Gonzales, and her 
brothers Billy and Joe. Mary is survived by her children Vicky Fabela, Richard 
Addington and Rudy Gardea as well as four grandchildren Andrew Fabela, 
Patricia Washington, Ricky Addington, and Christina Addington in addition to 
one great granddaughter Rachel Washington. Mary is also survived by her 
remaining sisters and brothers, Margie Gonzales, Frances Navarette, Victor 
Gonzales, and Johnny Gonzales as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was 
born in Lompoc, Ca and moved to Bakersfield as a child. She loved life, song, 
and dance. She worked for the Mexicali restaurant for many years before 
opening her own restaurant. Mary Addington was the proud owner of Marias 
Mexican Restaurant in Bakersfield for 25 years. In lieu of flowers, the family 
request that a donation be made to St. Francis Church in Marys name.
