Teresa Rose Gonzales 
Nov. 17, 1961 - Jan. 20, 2006 

Visitation for Teresa Rose Gonzales will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 
Niles Street) on Thursday, January 26, 2006 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with the 
Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at Our 
Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Friday morning, January 27, 2006 at 10:30 
a.m. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Teresa was born 
November 17, 1961 in Atascadero, California and she passed away January 20, 
2006 from complications after a heart attack in Bakersfield, California at the 
age of 44. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Marlene 
Nettleton and her sister, Lisa Essex. She is survived by her loving husband, 
Ruben Gonzales; brothers, Curt and Chris Reyna; niece, Joy Martinez; nephew, 
Jason Nettleton; uncles, Gene & Dwight Nettleton; grandmother, Rose Vaca as 
well as many loving cousins. Teresa grew up in the Los Angeles area where her 
parents passed away. She then came back to the Central Coast area and later 
moved to the Riverside area where she met and married Ruben Gonzales and they 
moved to Bakersfield in 1982. She enjoyed watching movies, cooking, dancing, 
reading and deeply loved her cats. She was loved by all that knew her and she
