Neil Francis Greenley was born on January 8, 1938, in Granville, Wisconsin to Leo and Helen Greenley. He passed away in Bakersfield on January 16, 2006, following a brief illness. Survivors include his wife, Betty; brother, Joseph Greenley and his wife, Eunice of Jackson, WI; brother, Kenneth Greenley and his wife, Beverly of Milwaukee, WI; sisters, Kathleen Taylor of Milwaukee, WI and Charity Carini of Winneconne, WI. Neils sons, Leonard, Gregory, Brian and Raymond all live in Wisconsin, along with his daughter, Teri Jenson of Tomahawk, WI; daughters include Judy Marcrum of Bakersfield, Janet and Bill Angle of Rawlins, WY and Joyce and Richard Ostrom of Longview, WA; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great- grandchildren also survive him. Longtime friend and hunting companion, Craig Jackson of Bakersfield, and friend and fishing companion, John Brennan of Bakersfield, along with his extended family Chris, Manny, Mike and Roxy at Diesel Power Systems and numerous others of Neils work, fishing and hunting family grieve his death. Neil lived in Bakersfield for 38 years working as a diesel fuel injection specialist when not out fishing and hunting with a variety of close friends, or attending to his responsibilities as a father and husband. Along with his outdoor activities, Neil was a fan of country music, and a huge NASCAR racing enthusiast. It is believed that NASCAR will be able to continue without Neils patronage.
