Timothy Lee Griswold

Tim was called home by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, January 
25, 2006. Tim was born to Mortimer and Janice Griswold on May 8, 1958. Upon 
graduation from Selah High School in Selah, WA, he joined the U.S. Navy. He 
received an honorable discharge after six years, having served on the USS 
Nimitz. In 1983, Tim and Leslie Farmer were married in Bakersfield. Tim 
attended Bakersfield College, and earned a BA Degree in Industrial Technology 
Graphic Arts from California State University Fresno. Tim thoroughly enjoyed 
his career as a graphic artist in the Print Shop at Fresno State. Tim 
cherished time with his family and friends. Tim was blessed by sharing his 
deep faith in Jesus Christ and eagerly anticipated joining his Lord in Heaven. 
Our heartfelt thanks to our loving families and our church family at Riverpark 
Bible Church for their kindness and support during Tims illness, and to St. 
Anges Hospice and the doctors and nurses at UCSF for their compassionate care. 
His sense of humor, support, and especially his loving and giving spirit will 
be missed by all. Preceding him in death were his father, Mortimer Griswold; 
and his stepfather, Glen Dahl. Tim is survived by his wife, Leslie Griswold; 
children, Jeremy, Joshua and Rebecca; mother, Jan Dahl; sister, Debbie Munden; 
brothers, Pat and Dan and his wife, Dana; mother-in-law, Lila Farmer; sisters-
in-law, Terri Parker and Jerri Alvarado and her husband, Alex; nieces, Liz, 
Emily, Kristen and Krystal; nephews, Travis, Duncan and Brent; many aunts, 
uncles, cousins and dear friends. A Celebration of Tims Life will be at 
Riverpark Bible Church, 7500 N. Millbrook, Fresno, CA, on Sunday, January 29, 
2006, at 2:00 p.m. Donations may be made to Riverpark Bible Church Camp 
Scholarship Fund.
