Juana E. Garcia Services: Tues., Aug. 2, 9:00 a.m. Juana E. Garcia passed away on July 29th, 2005 with her daughter, granddaughter, and great-grandchildren by her side. Juana was born in El Palmar, Jalisco, Mexico and lived in Bakersfield for the past 15 years. She is survived by her daughter, Estela Gonzalez and son-in-law, Ignacio Gonzalez; son, Luis Pelayo and daughter-in-law, Silvia Pelayo; and daughter, Maria Pinal and son-in-law, Tony Pinal. She was preceded in death by two sons, Ignacio and Edmundo Pelayo; and her husband, Luis Pelayo. She was affectionately known as Nina Juana. and she leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place on Monday, August 1, 2005 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Rosary will be at 6:00 p.m., on Monday at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Chapel, 2739 Panama Lane. Mass of the Resurrection will take place on Tuesday, August 2, 2005, at 9:00 a.m., at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 900 H St. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Park.
