Born in Stella, MO she moved to California in 1936, where she met and married Ed whose career in the oil industry took their family to Alaska several times over the years. Elizabeth is survived by her husband Ed of 68 years; sister Ruth Smith of Nipton, CA; brother, Charles Garner of Alexandria, IN; daughter, Anne Porter of Juneau, Alaska; daughter & son-in-law, Phyllis & Don Hall of Bakersfield, CA; sons & daughters-in-law, Joseph & Mickey Sutton of Bakersfield, Ca and Thomas & Claudia Sutton of Huntington Beach, CA; ten grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Park, 2739 Panama Lane, on Thursday, May 19, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation being held from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
