Ray Francis Gauthreaux, Sr.
Dec. 31, 1953 - March 12, 2005

Visitation for Ray Francis Gauthreaux, Sr. will be held at Basham Funeral Care 
(3312 Niles St.) on Monday, March 21, 2005, from 5 8 p.m., and Mass of the 
Christian Burial will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church on Tuesday, 
March 22, 2005, at 1 p.m. Monsignor Frost will officiate. Interment will 
follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. 

Ray Francis Gauthreaux, Sr., was born December 31, 1953, to Lola May Trahan 
and Arthur Gauthreaux in Rayne, Louisiana, and passed away on March 12, 2005, 
in Bakersfield, CA. Ray is survived by his 2 sons, Shawn Gauthreaux and Ray 
Francis Gauthreaux, Jr.; cousins, David Abshire, Patrick Menard, John Trahan, 
Michael Abshire, and Cindy; and other cousins in Louisiana. Ray spent his 
growing years in Louisiana, where he was raised by his loving grandmother. Ray 
was very proud of his Cajan heritage. He came to California, where he worked 
in the Bakersfield Oilfields for 18 years. Ray was a very good-hearted person 
who helped many people. He loved to hunt and fish, and he loved his dog, 
Mickey. Our beloved best friend will be greatly missed by Diane and Adrienne 
Ducato and many other family members and friends. For additional service
