John Thomas Gibson 
May 21, 1953 - May 28, 2005 

John Thomas Gibson Beloved Son, Husband, Father, Grandfather and Brother was 
born on May 21, 1953 to Carmen Lucero Barragan Gibson and William Thomas 
Gibson in Los Angeles, CA, was raised and lived in Ventura, CA before moving 
to Bakersfield, CA in 1988. John was preceded in death by his beautiful 
mother, Carmen and is survived by his father, William; his beloved wife, 
Connie Holladay; three daughters, Jaime, Jackie and Jodi; two granddaughters, 
Renee and Loni Ann; his sister to whom he was very close Susan and her 
husband, Dean Eyman; nephew, Troy Gibson; and niece and nephew, Tammy and 
William Russell. John was first and foremost a loving husband to his wife of 
24 years, Connie. He was a wonderful provider for his family which he loved 
more than anything. John had a large extended family and many friends 
throughout his lifetime that he cared for dearly. We would like to make 
special mention to his dear friends Kenny and Lori Lowe for all the support 
over the years. John was known for his sense of humor and hard work ethic. He 
loved to ride his motorcycle and to eat. He fought a long hard fight only to 
be taken from us much too soon. We will miss him every moment of every day. 
Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery, 3700 River Blvd., 
Bakersfield, on Friday, June 3, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. The service will be 
followed by a reception at Hughes Park in Pheasant Run off Brimhall Rd, in 
Bakersfield. For additional service information or floral delivery please
