Burial will be in Billings. He was born in Billings on April 9, 1941. He graduated from Billings Senior High School in 1959 and then from California State University in Bakersfield in 1992 with a degree in Economics. He began his career with the U.S. Govt., in the office of Personnel Management in Denver, CO. He served as a political appointee under President Ronald Regan in the U.S. Dept. of Energy in Washington D.C. He moved to Bakersfield in 1989 and worked at the Elk Hills Naval Petroleum Reserve as an Industrial Relations Specialist. Gary served five years on the Lakeside Union Elementary School Board and was instrumental in getting the Don Subaru Elementary School built. He was a published author and patented inventor. Gary was a member of Billings Masonic Lodge No. 113 AF & AM for 37 years. A member of Moss Agate Chapter No. 126 Order of Eastern Star, Scottish Rite and Al Bedoo Shrine Temple. Gary was preceded in death by his father, Elmer. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda; daughter, Tamra Ludwick; son, Gabriel and his wife, Elizabeth; granddaughters, Quinn and Jensen Giesick and Breanna Ludwick; mother, Wilma Giesick and a sister, Linda Price, both of Billings, MT; sisters, Marion Tinnes of Tillamook, OR, and Glenna Giesick of Portland, OR, and many nieces and nephews.
