William A. Jacobi

William A. Jacobi died on Friday, July 30th at home. He was 77 years old. 

He was born on March 12, 1927 in New York City. Bill served in the U.S. Army 
and was a World War II veteran. He graduated with his Bachelor degree in 
Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York 
in 1950. He was employed for over 45 years as a professional mechanical 
engineer in the oil industry. He enjoyed traveling, gardening and playing golf 
with his friend, Wes Sodergren.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Evelyn and their children; Warren and 
his wife, Ann, Victoria and her husband, Robert Herder, and John and his wife, 
Cathe; grandchildren, Anna Herder, Sophia Herder, William Herder and Coty 
Jacobi.

Bill requested that no services be held. Donations in Bills honor may be made 
to the Alzheimers Disease Association of Kern County.
