Hilda Fern Smith
January 20, 1924 August 3, 2004

Mom passed away peacefully in her sleep after a long illness. Mom is survived 
by her husband of 57 years, Lawrence Smith; 3 sons, Lawrence, Richard and 
David Smith; daughter, Linda Farmer and their spouses, all from Bakersfield; 9 
grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. 

Mom was a very loving and thoughtful Mother and Grandmother. She will be 
missed very much. Special thanks to Optimal Hospice for the help and caring of 
our mother.
