On Monday, August 2, 2004, at the age of 90, at the home of her grandson and grand-daughter-in-law where she resided in Bakersfield, CA, she quietly and peacefully, in her sleep, went home to be with the Lord after a long illness. Larhee was a person of many talents and hobbies. She loved to fish, sew and make hats. She was a devoted and longtime Christian and was very active at Jerusalem Mission COGIC for over 33 years serving faithfully as a church mother and a counselor to all. Larhee was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Tommy Lee; a son-in- law, Marvin Cooper; her parents and fourteen siblings. She leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her homegoing, her daughters, Ruby Lane and Rose Cooper; a son, Clarence Lee; a son-in-law, Luther Lane and a daughter-in-law, Jackie Lee; fourteen grandchildren, forty-five great-grandchildren and twenty- nine great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members. The family feels a great sense of loss, but is comforted with many loving memories. All that knew Larhee loved her. She will be greatly missed by family and lifelong friends. Viewing and visitation will start Friday, August 6, 2004, with an hour of meditation from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Ruckers Mortuary. The funeral ceremony will be held Saturday, August 7, at 11:00 a.m., at Jerusalem Mission Church of God in Christ, 924 Cottonwood Rd. Superintendent Freddie L.
