Born in Los Angeles, Jeanne graduated from Santa Monica High School and was awarded a scholarship to St. Marys University. She was a 17-year resident. A homemaker, Jeanne was a member of St. Malachys Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters of America and the American Quilters Society and had been awarded several ribbons for the quilts she exhibited at the Kern County Fair. Survivors include her husband, John T. Jack Finster; 2 sons, John J. and Jeffrey P. Finster; 4 daughters, Catherine M Stimson, Jeanne A. Westbrook, Cynthia L. Miller and Christina M. Hess; as well as 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. At her request, there will be no visitation.
