Mercedes L. Pesina
Services: Thurs., Aug. 19, 9 a.m.

Funeral services will be Thursday, August 19, 2004, at 9:00 a.m., at Our Lady 
of Guadalupe. Burial to follow at Union Cemetery. Mercedes was born February 
10, 1929, in Texas to Ynocenico and Bentura Pesina. She has been a resident of 
Kern County for 56 years. 

Mercedes was very active in church groups both at Our Lady of Guadalupe and 
Saint Francis. She loved serving the Lord.

Those left behind to cherish her memories, sister, Susan Marquez; brothers, 
Victor Pesina and James Pesina all of Bakersfield.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 18, at Mish Funeral Home-Oildale from 4 
to 7 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 7 p.m.
